Privacy Policy

Mogul (“the App”) is developed by an independent developer. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

Information We Do Not Collect

Mogul does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising SDKs in the App.

Data Stored on Your Device

All data created by Mogul is stored locally on your device:

• Podcast subscriptions and queue — Your subscribed podcasts, episode queue, and playback progress are saved to local files on your device.
• Radio station favorites — Your saved stations and preferences are stored locally.
• Audiobook progress — Chapter positions and bookmarks are stored locally.
• Music library reference — Mogul reads audio files from a folder you select. It does not copy or move your files.
• Playlists — Playlists you create are stored locally and may sync across your devices via iCloud Key-Value Storage if iCloud is enabled on your device.
• Settings and preferences — Playback speed, color saturation, and other preferences are stored locally.

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled, Mogul may sync lightweight data (such as playlists) across your devices using Apple’s iCloud Key-Value Storage. This data is handled entirely by Apple’s infrastructure and is subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Network Requests

Mogul contacts the following third-party services solely to provide core functionality. No personal information is sent with these requests:

• iTunes Search API — Used to search for podcasts by name. Only your search query is sent.
• Radio Browser API (radio-browser.info) — Used to browse and search internet radio stations. Only your search query is sent.
• Last.fm API — Used to fetch album artwork for radio stations based on the currently playing artist and track name. No user-identifying information is sent.
• Podcast RSS feeds — When you subscribe to a podcast, the App fetches the podcast’s public RSS feed to retrieve episodes.

Subscriptions

Mogul offers an optional subscription managed entirely through Apple’s App Store. Payment processing is handled by Apple. The developer does not have access to your payment information. For details, see Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Downloaded Content

Podcast episodes you download for offline listening are stored on your device. You can delete them at any time from the App’s settings.

Children’s Privacy

Mogul does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
